We have been informed that our lease will not be renewed after it expires in October 2011. After putting vast amounts of time energy and money into their derelict property, together with starting a restaurant and bed and breakfast business ( which, after four years is becoming very popular and profitable) They would not give a full explanation as to why they will not renew.
This will make a 61 yr old man have to start afresh and his family including a 3yr old child without a means to support themselves. Please help us change our landlords mind ( he has not even eaten here despite invitations) by joining our group
Mr Stephens our landlord inherited 2 estates from his Aunt, Lady Wakeman . He is a patron of the newly built Shrewsbury Theatre. He is also a very successful Stockbroker and has a place in London.
We have decided that we will take this matter further than Facebook and intend to go to the press local and national, in the next couple of weeks and also see if our local television news would be prepared to do a piece on our situation. We want to give the landlords a reasonable amount of time to reconsider, before doing this.
